          From the chart, we can see Payphone is the 1^st of this week that move up from No. 2 to No. 1. Yeah! I believe that many people have heard about this band and used to hear their music before because their songs have the hit rank in many countries and got a lot of awards. Let’s know more about Maroon5.

          Maroon5 is the pop rock band from America that formed by Adam Levine(lead vocalist and guitarist), Jesse Carmichael(keyboardist), Mickey Madden(bass guitarist) and Ryan Dusick(drummer) in 1997, while they were attending high school. Original name of band was called Kara's Flowers. When they formed the band again with guitarist James Valentine, they changed the name to be Maroon5. Number five is the number of members.  After that Dusick left the band and was replaced by Matt Flynn.
          From the first album, Songs About Jane, they had become the band that got most attention. They won the “Best New Artist Award" from Grammy Awards in 2005. In this album, there are four hit songs; Harder to Breathe, This Love, She Will Be Loved and Sunday Morning.
          Thereafter they have good singles consistently such as Makes Me Wonder from the second album that reach to the first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  Maroon 5's third studio album “Hands All Over” is the Maroon 5's biggest  success from "Moves Like Jagger”. In 2012 Maroon 5 announced their fourth studio album “Overexposed” which also popular by “Payphone”.

          "I love this band since I was grade 11. In my opinion, lead singer (Adam Levine) has the well and unique voice. (Also handsome LOL). Moreover they have a variety of musical styles that make their songs not repeatedly. All content and all melodies in each songs are different, so Maroon5 is not boring and I can not stop listening their songs."

Have you ever listened this song "Somebody that I used to know"?
          I think everyone have ever listen it. Maybe I have to change the question to "Are you bored with this song? because it is so hot single that you can hear it everywhere. The first time I had listen "Somebody that I used to know" I did not understand and feel so bad with this song. But after I listen it several times, I see something that as the highlight of it. 

          First, the prominent voice of the singer. Gotye has very well voice and identity style that make me can separate him from that other artist. 

          Second, the music, Some instrument sounds in this song I never heard them before. They like many things that knocking together but it is incredible good sound. Later, I heard that some part was the instrument of India.

          Third, the melody of the song. The earliest tone of the song (vocal and instrument sound) is gentle that like to tell the story. After that it will be loud continuously until it goes to the main part of song(hook). Main part is the most loudly because he want to use insulting language same the content of song. Thus, The arrangement of contents and sound make it is interesting more 30%.

Someone who do not like this song, I recommend you to see its music video. 

Although it seem have nothing but it mix with art that make it become a beautiful and unseen music video.

Somebody who love art, you will love "Somebody that I used to know".
